This lesson develops two examples with a parabola. The first example explores graphing a parabola from an equation, finding the area bounded by the x axis, center of mass, and volume of a solid in revolution about a line parallel to the x-axis. Understanding a parabola in algebra can lead to success in Calculus and Calculus based science classes such as physics, engineering mechanics and dynamics. The second examples bounds the parabola by both the x and y axis, explores the centroid and volume in revolution.

A short introductory theremin lesson to playing notes, executing dynamic vibratto, and dynamic volume with the theremin. Playing errors included to demonstrate how difficult it is to play the theremin well.

Work hard. Play hard. That’s Camille’s motto. As the Research Coordinator of the Neurology Department at Beth Israel, spare time is a myth. But, she always makes time for fun! And tonight she has a date with her bf, the lead singer from The Drew Blood Band. So, she asked me to show her a sultry, pretty look that would take less than 15 minutes to apply. We started with her brows because I knew if we could get them right, the rest would melt perfectly into place.
