just read books and watch youtube videos thats all i done to learn and ive learned loads from it.

your best starting with an acoustic guitar first then when you get better then buy an electric guitar.

If you want to learn guitar on your own, I’d suggest checking out a few YouTube videos to understand how to place your fingers. Once you learn how to maneuver the guitar, get chord charts and start practicing. I would just sit for hours practicing moving with my fingers to get used to it. Investing in a tuner will help you out a lot. I got one back when I was teaching myself; I still use it occasionally, but it definitely helped me develop an ear for tuning.

As far as affordable guitars there are plenty out there, but make sure you understand what you are looking for. I’ve attached some guides for starting out that go over what to look for in a starter guitar. That will help you out.

what kind of music do you want to play? when you buy an electric guitar, you should also get an amplifier. there are lots of good beginner guitars. squier, epiphone, ibanez. those are guitar brands, just look at guitars from those brands. they can range from $80-$3000. go to a guitar store and ask for help with picking a cheap beginner practice amp.

as for learning how to play. look up "how to read tabs" tabs are an easier notation for reading music for guitar. that’s how I got started. learn chords, and just learn some simple songs which are your favorite

You can start by learning to read Guitar Tablature, it is the easiest way to read Guitar Music and won’t take long to understand. This will open up many doorways for yourself to start advancing at a fast pace on the Guitar.

buy guitar books, go online, watch videos, etc. you can learn songs online by looking up tabs, although not all tabs are 100% accurate. make sure to also learn music theory and guitar theory, not just how to play songs. You can go to your library and check out books on guitar and music.

As for a beginner guitar, my first guitar was a fender squire starter set that came with a mini amp. It’s from guitar center and it was less than $200 i think.

youtube videos i learnded how to play sweet dreams byu marilyn manson on the guitar by a youtube video, espexcialy the ones where it shows thrcords, if u know how to read cords.
